General info

I’m having trouble with registration/facing a technical issue with the website (such as a link not working, page not loading etc.) - or I have a question which I can’t find the answer to in the FAQ. What do I do?

If you have any difficulty during the registration process, face a technical issue or simply can’t find the answer to your question in the FAQs, our team are ready to help. You can send us an email on or give us a call on +968 9815 2259. Our support line is open on weekdays, from 9 AM to 5 PM daily.

Can I request a refund?

Unfortunately, all entries are non-refundable. As an alternative, please see below for the option of a transfer to another person.

I would like to transfer my entry to another person. How can I do this?

You can transfer your entry by clicking the “Modify My Entry” link at the bottom of your confirmation email then click the “Transfer My Registration” button, which will take you to an online form which the new participant must fill in. Once this is completed, your entry will be transferred to the new participant.

Please note that this must be done between registration opening on the 22nd of May, until the 18th November of 2018, when the bibs will be ordered. Please note that no transfers will be possible at the end of the period specified.

I did not receive my confirmation email, what should I do?

You can contact us and we will manually generate a confirmation email for you.

Can I change categories?

Yes, you may change categories before the 18th of November 2018. You can do this by logging into the participant page following the link at the bottom of the confirmation email sent after registration. You must then click “Edit my entry”, which will take you to the page where you can select your new category. Note that any increase in fees must be paid in full and that the difference in the amount for a downgrade cannot be reimbursed.

Can I change my t-shirt size/customize my bib?

Yes, you can do this by clicking the link at the bottom of your confirmation email sent after registering and clicking on “Edit my entry”. You can then choose your t-shirt size from the menu on the page or enter the text in the “customise your bib” section. Please note that you will be unable to edit your size from the 18th November onwards, as the orders will be processed.

I want to change or update information in my registration, what is the process to do so?

You can update your information by following the link in your confirmation email and clicking on “Edit my entry”.

What is the cut off time for the race?

6 hours for the Marathon
3 hours for the Half Marathon
2 hours for the 10k Run
1 hour for the Charity 5K

Can I run with a pram during the race?

Unfortunately, this would not be possible.

What are the expected numbers of competitors?

We are expecting around 10,000 competitors over the two days.

What happens to the places when people drop out of any category after registration is closed? Is there a waiting list?

Unfortunately, there will be no places available after registration closes.
